Valentius looks after veteran patients all around Australia, even in rural and remote areas, via the convenience of telehealth. Our initial eligibility screening appointment is completely free of charge.

All initial and follow-up doctor appointments are covered by Medicare or DVA. Additionally, medication (if eligible) can also be funded by the DVA on a case-by-case basis.

The Valentius team also handles all the red-tape when it comes to submitting and tracking DVA applications, so you can remain stress-free.

Our service can offer alternative healthcare options to eligible patients when conventional medicine has failed or fallen short.

Eligibility for DVA-funded care is determined by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs on a case-by-case basis, following assessment by qualified healthcare professionals.

Valentius supports veterans by providing Australian clinician-led consultations to assess eligibility, discuss appropriate care pathways, and assist with navigating relevant DVA processes where applicable.

All care decisions, including whether any treatment may be considered for funding, are subject to clinical judgement and DVA approval. Not all patients or treatments will be eligible.

No, you do not need to organise anything.

We’ll manage the process for you. After your initial nurse appointment, we’ll refer you to one of our partnered pain specialists if eligible, who usually complete their review and assessment within 24 hours. No weeks-long wait.

To proceed, specialists will need either access to your My Health Record (we can help you activate this) or a health summary from your regular GP. A copy of your DVA-approved conditions may also assist, and our admin team can guide you through this quickly and easily.

Joining Valentius means no upfront fees. Our initial screening appointment is completely free, and ongoing consultations are covered by Medicare or DVA. Medication may also be funded by DVA based on eligibility. There is a DVA Prescription co-payment of $7.70, however, ask our team about our observational study to get this covered.

At Valentius, our mission is to provide compassionate and professional natural medicine care that is accessible to veterans from all walks of life without any financial burden. From your first appointment and beyond, you can feel confident knowing the process is fully supported, transparent and centred on your wellbeing.

The initial screening appointment at Valentius is free. Ongoing consultations are bulk billed for DVA card holders. Eligibility for DVA-funded care depends on the type of DVA card held and is assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

Gold Card holders may be eligible for full funding, while White Card holders’ funding is subject to DVA approval based on their accepted conditions. This may result in partial or full funding.

Valentius provides screening and consultation services for eligible DVA card holders and can assist with navigating relevant DVA processes. Funding decisions are subject to clinical assessment and DVA approval.
